Background and Education

Dr. Heil has an impressive educational history, achieving his Doctorate of Medicine “cum laude,” a very high honor bestowed by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his residency in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and a Fellowship in Microsurgery and Thrombosis Research at the University of Pittsburgh at their renowned, world-class plastic surgery training program.
